WE WILL BE CELEBRATING 31 YEARS OF PROFESSIONAL DOG TRAINING AND FIRST CLASS CARE OF ALL BREEDS AND MOST ALL DOG TRAINING LEVELS IN 2004
TRAINING...
TRAINING HABITS TO ALWAYS REMEMBER 1. Don't blame the dog (train him!!!). Do not train when frustrated. 2. Train your dog - train accordingly. Deal with each problem. Example: If your training or marking ability and the dog breaks, work on being steady.....FORGET THE MARKS!!! 3. Simplify your training. Build from success....SIMPLIFY over using force. 4. Maintain balance of training, not too much of one idea. 5. Use low-level collar. Use attrition to teach first, then force with collar after dog understands what he did wrong. 6. Expect a high standard for your dog (lower expectations if necessary). Try to maintain the dog's standard.
